October is a month of change. The air cools, the nights draw in, and nature shows us the art of letting go. It’s also the beginning of Vata season in Ayurveda — a time when our energy can become scattered, anxious, or restless.

And as we approach Samhain (Halloween) on October 31st, we meet a powerful threshold — the end and beginning of the Wheel of the Year. A time of reflection, release, and renewal.


Practice Makes Permanent is your 30-day invitation to anchor into routine, steady your energy, and align your practice with the rhythm of the season.


What You’ll Receive

Each morning from October 1st, a new practice will be shared in our private Facebook group by 7am, ready for you to enjoy in your own time.

Here’s what's included:

  • A daily theme inspired by nature, self-awareness, and seasonal wisdom
  • A short (5–10 min) guided practice — yoga, breath work, meditation or mindful movement
  • A daily affirmation or reflection to carry with you throughout the day
  • Ayurvedic insights to stay grounded through Vata season
  • A private, supportive Facebook group — no pressure, just presence
  • Weekly Live Q&A — bring a brew and join me live as we check in, reflect, and share the experience
  • Access to all content through to the end of the  calendar year — repeat and revisit whenever you need grounding in the darker months

Why October?

This season is a threshold.

✨ In Ayurveda, Vata season brings lightness, airiness, and movement. Without grounding, this can show up as anxiety, insomnia, or scattered energy. A simple daily practice helps restore balance, warmth, and steadiness.


✨ At Samhain, the Celtic New Year, we honour the closing of one cycle and the beginning of another. It’s the perfect time to release, reset, and begin again.


This challenge offers you a gentle structure to root into, helping you flow with — rather than against — the energy of the season.
